Dagobert's Revenge

Theomorphic Spirits

review by James P. Bergman

Made by Sinisa Ocurscak, a soldier who fought in a special unit from the capitol of Croatia in Zagreb during his country’s imposed war of liberation from Yugoslavia. Knowing this, helps to keep this musickal project in perspective because this does sound like the soundtrack to some sort of epic war movie. Very emotionally moving and atmospheric in nature, with a certain coldness to it like the snows of some perpetual blood-stained winter. Akin to a film soundtrack or the sound of some private ceremonial magick ritual more than anything else I could think of. Stirring, and powerfully emotive.
